Businesses launching operations in Elbląg are entitled to various breaks and privileges granted under acts of local law.
They are:
- reduced charges for businesses launching operations,
- simplified formal and legal requirements that facilitate the acquisition of administrative decisions,
- real estate tax relief,
- preferences for businesses investing in the Elbląg subzone of Warmińsko-Mazurska Special Economic Zone.
Businesses which are already established in Elbląg are also entitled to assistance from institutions that support entrepreneurship, founded or supported by the local authorities. Local businesses receive the following type of support:
