Historical buildings and monuments:
Many Kostrzyn monuments were destroyed during the second world war. There are very few interesting historical structures preserved as examples of the town's over one thousand year history. The most interesting monument of Kostrzyn are ruins of Kostrzyn Fortress and Old Town with preserved network of streets.
Other worth visiting places are:
- Stalag III C at Drzewice housing estate, the area of prison camp and a cemetery where the prisons were buried
- 19th-century railway station
- The Holy Virgin Mary Church built in the seventies
- a monument commemorating soldiers who died during the first world war
- an inactive water tower built in 1903
- a water pump station in Warniki
- General Świerczewski monument;
- a monument and cemetery of Soviet soldiers killed during the second world war;
- the Lion monument commemorating soldiers killed during the first world war
- a monument of the exiles to Siberia
